As I tried making my slideshow I have found out that it is harder than I thought it would be. So I have to plan out exactly what I want to do before I actually do it. I also want to start incorporating music into my project because I have found out that if I add music to certain pictures it can clearly bring out the emotion or a message I think the picture brings out. Or should bring out. So I think by my next blog post I will have a little sneak peak of what I've been working on so tune in next week!!!!!

Well so far I have taken ALOT of pictures, "selfies" and just regular pictures. I don't have a set idea of exactly what type of pictures I would like to go with. If I go with a certain type I would be limiting myself but if go with but if I go with both I feel like my blog wouldn't be focused. So I'm having a hard deciding what direction I would like to go. ![]() My main reason for this photo journal is to capture the essence and shear beauty of a photo. I spend TONS of time looking a photos such as the one on the side. With photos like this one there can be many interpretations as to what the eye can see. Photos such as this one really allows the mind to dance and imagine. In my opinion a photo should capture emotion or even provoke emotion in the person viewing it. The viewer should be able to come up with their own story to correspond to the photo. Like for instance this photo here is of an African - American boy. Looking into his eyes you can tell has been through more than you can imagine. He has or is a tutored soul. You can look into his eyes and tell he wants to escape. To me the gate represents something that is holding him back from being free, from being himself and from feel like he doesn't have to be afraid anymore.
Some people don't recognize the little things that truly make them happy. By doing this journal I can clearly see what makes me happy and the things that effect this. This journal can also help me capture the emotion in the photo at that given time. I will start out by learning the background of "selfies"
